The study was completed in two phases that corresponded to the analysis of the existing situation (Phase A) and the proposal formulation for the traffic and parking management in the Municipality of Panagia in Chalkidiki (Phase B).
The study outcomes are the following:
• Accessibility problems solution for the existing land uses of the study area and its expansions.
• Proposals for the short- and long-term regulations for the traffic management and parking policy. They include measures for one-way streets, pedestrianization, interventions on certain nodes configuration etc.
Integrated parking plan for the Municipality of Panagia and the service of special interest areas. The plan concerns the on and off street parking areas, in order for the existing and foreseen parking needs to be met and so that the smooth vehicle and passengers’ movement is not obstructed.
