The kick off meeting of the project “Overall study for the optimisation of the use of resources and assets of Cyprus ports” was held in Limassol, Cyprus on 12/9/2011. The project has been assigned to the consortium of EUROCONSULTANTS, Ernst & Young and TREDIT S.A and its objective is to study and report on as-is situation within ports of Cyprus and provide a viable proposal to increase the effectivess of available resources with the combination of a set of strategic Key Perfromance Indicators. The study includes the evaluation of the IT systems in terms of security and the provision of the relevant strategy to improve IT systems’ security. The project is funded under TEN-T mechanism and is considered a key-project towards the longterm organizational and operational sustainability of Cyprus Port Authority.
