ATTACH aims at forming a European network of telematics sites which will
• provide a forum for exchanging information on citizen’s self-service telematics applications for community help
• develop or exchange and modify multimedia service applications for citizens
• exchange and develop service related base technologies
• run local and integrated trials for citizens’ help multimedia kiosks and home terminals taking into account needs for multilingual use of the system both locally and Europe-wide and consider special services for the disabled and elderly
The project product will be a multimedia system for the communication of all classes of public information, and for interaction with public services.
The main features of this system will be:
Specific new applications introduced by ATTACH are:
• recording, acknowledging and forwarding citizen complaints
• contacting police officers through video in emergency situations
• improving facilities for administrative procedures, e.g. presenting license documents to the police
• informing and servicing in case of lost, stolen, and found property
Pilot implementations are in Sweden, United Kingdom, and Greece.
Role of TREDIT:
– System design for the pilot implementation in Greece (Kalamaria, Thessaloniki)
– Development of the local booking application
– Development of the Kalamaria site
– Local site coordination
