The main objective of the project is the design, development, installation and operation of an automatic invoicing system for the Container Terminal of Thessaloniki Port Authority. This automatic invoicing system includes the calculation, issuing and management of the invoices referred to the activities that take place under the responsibility of the Container Terminal, namely storage and loading-unloading charges.
This project fulfills the needs of Thessaloniki Port Authority for automatic invoicing, as an extension of the Integrated Information System. The interconnectivity between the two systems ensures the fast and automatic data processing of the activities related to the container and ship. With this project, Thessaloniki Port Authority significantly upgrades the services provided to its clients while reduces its operational costs by accelerating the invoicing procedure and optimization of the information management.
