Object of work is the conduct of researches – measurements and coding – computerisation of collected data in northern Greece in the context specialized transport consulting for self financing of motorways in Greece. The work will be executed in two predetermined periods, formal period (15/5/02 – 15/6/02) and summer period (15/7/02 – 25/8/02) and include:
• Origin – Destination and Stated Preference surveys. The relative consultancy services include the realisation of a 12-hour interviews in 31 stations in northern Greece, the conduct of automated and manual measurements in these stations and the coding / computerisation of the data
• The weekly conduct of traffic measurements with the use of portable automated traffic meters in 52 spots on a 12-month basis, the examination of the proper meter operation in the field, and the computerisation of these measurements ω • Measurements of turning movements in 13 nodes of the network and the computerisation of these measurements.
For the conduct of the above-mentioned surveys – measurements, that TREDIT organised and carried out, the mobilisation and education of at least 100 individuals was realised depending on the survey they participated in.

Role of TREDIT:
– O-D and Stated preference survey in 31 spots of the road network in northern Greece
– Turning movements’ measurements in 13 nodes in northern Greece
– Traffic volumes using portable automated traffic meters in 52 spots of the road network in northern Greece
– Coding – computerisation of the collected data
