The main task of this project is the introduction of integrated telematics applications in the port of Thessaloniki and particularly the Container Terminal. The solution being implemented will significantly upgrade the level of services to the customers. The integrated management system of the Terminal will automate the operational and accelerate the administrative processes. Advanced telecommunication infrastructure will allow the dynamic and low cost electronic exchange of information between the port authority and the external parties involved.
The project consists of the following applications:

• Automatic Control of the Main Gate of the Terminal (In/Out)
• Automatic stowage area management
• Vessel Loading/Unloading Control
• Geographical Information System (GIS)
• Electronic Communication System
• Administrative Support System
