The innovative tourism business approach enabled by federated service Network consists of an information system aiming to promote innovative solutions in the tourism sector, in order to exploit more rationally the existing tourism infrastructures and to upgrade regions with limited organizational, technological and managerial possibilities.
The system consists of a tourism services providing network and allows electronic transactions, via Internet, among all the parties involved. More particularly the local actors will have the possibility to promote and market their services via Internet. Via the IRENE system, the users-tourists can promptly find their favorite destinations and exploit the available services.

Role of TREDIT:
– Development of the Greek pilot application (Kos island).
– Compatibility control of the IRENE system, to existing technological standards
