TREDIT S.A participated in the Cross Border Seminar “Synergies and collaborations within the port community” organised by Port Authority of Igoumenitsa within APC Project, where the developed local Port Community System was presented.

The APC – The Adriatic Port Community project is financed by the IPA Adriatic Program, co-financed by the EU and National funds. Within the framework of the Project, the ports of Venice, Ploce (Croatia) and Igoumenitsa develop intra-port applications that will allow the organizations themselves to exchange information. Furthermore, the port’s stakeholders (Port Authority, Customs, customs clearers, shipping agents, logistics companies, drivers, etc.) will have the opportunity to simplify procedures for exchanging documents by using electronic services through a single web application.

The local Port Community System developed by TREDIT provides the following capabilities:
– Efficient Management of Ships Arrival and Departure
– Management of Custom Operations
– Parking Reservation and Management system
Finally a tool in order to monitor the activities and processes related to Vessel and cargo operations was provided, in order to provide a better view of the flow of operational and historical information.

The presentation attended several representatives from local authorities as well as stakeholders related to port operations.
