The Developmental agency of North-West Thessaloniki S.A., in the context of its institutional role, assembled and processes ways of implementation for the proposals the municipalities of the North-western urban area of Thessaloniki have formulated aiming at the improvement of the traffic conditions within the Municipalities and the support of the intra-communal accessibility.
The short-term solution of the traffic problems does not reverse, neither is contrary to the total planning and the holistic approach a Municipality or an urban area has to have Group for the operation and wholeness of its transport infrastructures. Such solutions simply improve locally and not only the traffic problems based on the thorough causes’ analysis, taking into account the effect on the whole transport system.

The final actions that complete the approach of the above concern the hierarchy of the proposed projects and the configuration of “integrated” projects, according to the priorities of Business Plan Programs in order for the necessary funds to be extracted from the proper financing sources for the proposals’ implementation.
In the context of the above, the Technical Adviser services focus on the projects’ promotion with short-term and medium-long-term application and more specifically will include:
– Completion of existing proposals
– Proposals hierarchy
– Development of technical Studies
– Writing of Project Technical Bulletins
– Identification of Business Plan Program meters in which the projects can be included.
