The study has as its subject the estimation of the car parking demand in the area affected by the station in two ways: a) operational demand and b) nightly recording of the residents’ demand estimation and the recording of parking supply on the road as well as out of the region of the station’s effect.
This study was worked out in one sole phase which included the estimation of parking demand as well as the consequences of the current parking situation and the police control at the greater area.
The characteristic of the specific area is that it is going to operate at a region where the nightly hours there is strong presence from part of entertainment stores. This fact results in the predictable increase in parking demand during the whole day.
