Customer: Organization of Greek Railways S.A.

In the context of the Information Society Programme Business Plan for the Greek Ministry of Transport, the Organization of Greek Railways designed and submitted five innovative Telematics Projects.
More particularly:
– Electronic procurement in the framework of measure 2.2 of the Information Society.
– Fleet monitoring System in the framework of the measures 2.1 & 2.8 of Information Society.
– New fare collection System for the Athens Urban Railway system in framework of the measure 2.8 of the Information Society
– Customers Support Call Center in the framework of the measure of 2.8 of Information Society
– Booking of Railway Tickets in the framework of measure 2.8 of Information Society.
The main objective of the project is the design, analysis and planning of the above mentioned systems, as well as preparation of the relevant technical annexes for submission at the Information Society programme, on behalf of the Greek Railway Organization (OSE).
In particular the project will deliver:
– List of the until now actions of OSE and of the results of the carried out studies for the above projects.
– Definition of the Technical documentation and the opinions of the OSE staff for the definition of the projects technical objective.
– Projects Time planning based on the priorities of OSE and the current infrastructure of the Organization.
– Technical annexes editing for the above mentioned projects based on the requirements of the Information Society programme.
Definition of studies (maturity, specifications etc.) which are necessary on the one hand for the high level preparation of the Organization for the implementation of the projects and on the other hand to support the “maturity” of the projects.
Role of TREDIT:
– Design and analysis of the OSE Projects in the context of the Information Society
– Definition of the projects requirements
– Preparation of relevant Technical annexes
– Support for the prompt submission of the Technical annexes
